Help! What should our motto be?

Every few months over the past year or more we have been revisiting the same question. Why do our clients choose us? What turn of phrase best describes who we are at Presti & Naegele? If we were to use one, what should our motto be?

When I describe what I think makes us so unique it takes far too much time and I’ve never quite hit on the right phrase. We love that moment when we notice that you “get it”. We are thrilled when someone is able to spend time building the business rather than fretting over the books. It’s amazing when we hear that a company increased profits because they could finally see which projects were losing money. Most of all though, I always come back to how much we enjoy the people we work with. The P&N crew eats lunch together most days. We have a great time during our regular organized outings and the spontaneous after work excursions. I think our collective spirit for fun and family carries over to our client relationships. These are the things that I think make us unique. But how do you cut that down to a few choice words?

A few days ago we found ourselves in the conversation again and Andy said something very simple but came closer than any of us have thus far. He said that “we have a passion for people.” So simple yet so true.

And this, the reason for my post. I’m hoping you can help me find that phrase that describes your experiences with us.

  • What did we do that made a difference in your business?
  • How did you describe our work to your colleagues?
  • What is it that keeps you coming back?
Email me your thoughts and if you would like me to post them here with a link to your site let me know.

Thanks for your help.

I began my career with Presti & Naegele in 2005 after several years as a freelance QuickBooks trainer and business owner. I became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor in 2004 and Advanced Certified in 2007. I have a passion for travel. My favorite travel destination thus far has been the island of Vava’u in Tonga. While there I explored the archipelago by sea kayak and snorkeled alongside Hump Back Whales. When I can’t get away, I spend time photographing New York and motoring around in my classic MG. afleri@pnatc.com
