Here’s a list of some changes with the R10 update:
• In the Accounts Payable side, the account is now correctly filled when writing a check to a vendor if the “Automatically Recall last transaction for this name” preference is enabled. • In the Accounts Receivable side, the confirmation dialog to record your changes to the check now correctly appears after changing a payment that is linked to a check. • Tax tracking types will now show up correctly when viewing the Payroll Summary by Tax Tracking Type report in Excel. • Changes made to a sales order template with the Backordered and Invoiced columns selected to print, will now be saved. • Some customers will have an icon that allows them to perform a 1-Click Upgrade to a newer QuickBooks version. This is in place of needing to download and install the new version after purchase. It happens automatically as part of the purchase process. • For Intuit Payment Network users, When credits have been applied to an invoice before it is sent, PaymentNetwork now presents the net amount as the default amount to be paid online. Credits applied after the invoice was sent are not reflected in the amount to be paid unless the invoice is re-sent. Instead of using Sync, you can now download payments received via PaymentNetwork directly into QuickBooks 2011. You see a list of payments, with under- and over-payments flagged, and can choose which to record. QuickBooks marks the invoices “paid”, records receipt of payment, and optionally records the bank deposit. • In the Payroll Side, Paychecks are now excluded from the Deposit Detail Report and QuickBooks will no longer print Company Contributions in the taxable section of the paystub when they are actually not taxable.
